The location of the hotel was ideal for exploring the surrounding area. the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. the facilities were top-notch, with a sauna and great indoor/outdoor relaxation areas. the highlight of our stay was the delicious organic breakfast, as well as the home-cooked dinner. the complimentary bike hire was a nice extra touch.
Honestly, there was nothing to fault with our weekend stay. the only thing to note is that the hotel may not suit those looking for a more modern aesthetic, as it had a traditional charm to it.
